Economic Recovery
An unexpected 7.8 earthquake devastated Nepal on April 25, taking more than 8,600 lives, injuring thousands more, leaving tens of thousands without homes and supplies and knocking down infrastructures. Although socioeconomic cost of this disaster has not yet been precisely estimated, it is believed that reconstruction and rehabilitation will require billions. It's difficult for the country which had experienced a decade-long conflict and is still in a political transition.
